Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Antonio Alves Neto, Ehrhartstrasse 47, 67141 Neuhofen, Germany ("we", "us") collects and uses your personal data when you use HireReady24 (the "Service"). We are the data controller for this processing. Contact: hello@hireready24.com.

1. What we collect

  • Account data (via our auth provider, Clerk): your name, email address, and phone number, and authentication metadata.
  • Content you provide: the information you enter or upload to use the Service — your CV, job descriptions, and the documents the Service generates for you.
  • Payment data: when you buy credits, payment is processed by Polar as Merchant of Record. Polar collects your payment details and billing information; we do not receive or store your card data. We receive confirmation of a purchase (e.g. transaction reference, pack, amount).
  • Usage and technical data: basic logs and product-usage information needed to operate and secure the Service.

2. Why we use it (legal bases)

  • To provide the Service you request — creating and tailoring your documents (performance of a contract). This includes sending your content to our AI provider to generate outputs.
  • To process payments and provide credits (performance of a contract).
  • To secure and improve the Service and prevent abuse, including limiting free-trial farming (legitimate interests).
  • To comply with legal and tax obligations (legal obligation).

We do not sell your personal data.

3. AI processing

To generate and tailor your documents, the content you submit is sent to our AI provider, Anthropic (the provider of the Claude models), for processing. Your content is used only to produce your outputs. Anthropic does not use inputs or outputs submitted through its API to train its models.

4. Who we share it with (processors)

We share data only with service providers who process it on our behalf under appropriate agreements:

  • Clerk — authentication and account management.
  • Polar — payments, tax, and receipts (as Merchant of Record).
  • Anthropic — generating and tailoring your documents (AI processing).
  • Render — cloud hosting and infrastructure, including the application, database (PostgreSQL) and cache (Redis), located in the EU (Frankfurt, Germany).
  • PostHog — privacy-friendly product analytics, used only with your consent (see Cookies below). We use PostHog Cloud EU, hosted in the EU (Frankfurt, Germany), under a Data Processing Agreement, with IP addresses anonymized. Analytics are not loaded and no analytics cookies are set unless you opt in.

5. International transfers

Our hosting infrastructure (Render) is located in the EU (Frankfurt, Germany). Some other providers are based in the United States and may process limited data outside the EEA — in particular Clerk (authentication), Polar (payments) and Anthropic (AI processing). Where data is transferred outside the EEA, those transfers are protected by appropriate safeguards, principally the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses together with supplementary measures where required.

6. Retention

We keep your account and content for as long as your account is active, and delete or anonymise them within 30 days after you close your account. We retain certain records for longer where the law requires it — in particular, invoice and tax records, which under German law must be kept for up to 10 years.

7. Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or object to certain processing, and withdraw consent where processing is based on it. To exercise these rights, contact hello@hireready24.com. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

8. Cookies

We use essential cookies required to sign you in and keep your session secure (via Clerk). We also use analytics cookies (via PostHog) only after you consent through our cookie banner — until then, no analytics script loads and no analytics cookie is set. You can decline without losing any functionality, and we store your choice in a first-party cookie so we don't ask again. Our analytics are configured with IP anonymization and are hosted in the EU (Frankfurt, Germany).

9. Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including delegating card handling to Polar and authentication to Clerk. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

10. Children

The Service is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect data from children.

11. Changes

We may update this Policy; material changes will be notified in-product or by email. The "last updated" date reflects the current version.
