How to use HireReady24 to find the jobs that fit you
In one sentence: you bring your CV once, and for every job you're interested in, HireReady24 shows how well you fit it and writes a CV tailored to it, using only what you already have.
What HireReady24 does, and what it doesn't
- It doesn't search for jobs. You find postings where you already look (LinkedIn, company sites, referrals) and bring each one here.
- It reads the posting and your CV and shows, requirement by requirement, where your CV already answers it and where there's a gap.
- It writes a tailored CV for the posting from what's in your CV and the stories you confirmed. Nothing is invented.
The four steps
1. Your base CV (once, free). Upload your CV as PDF, DOCX or ODT, or paste the text. We find the sections (experience, education, skills) and you confirm them. This is your base CV: the source of every tailored CV. Editing it creates a new version, which applies to the jobs you tailor next. Tip: keep your base CV complete, with everything you've done and the results you really have. Tailoring picks what matters for each job; it can't use what isn't there.
2. A job you're interested in (free). Paste the whole posting: requirements, responsibilities, scope. The requirements are what we check your CV against. We turn the posting into a list: must-haves and nice-to-haves.
3. Your fit report (free, no credit used). For each requirement you see the line of your CV that covers it, or the gap. You also get a score. It's a reading of your CV against this posting, not a prediction of an interview. For each gap you choose: tell a real story (in the STAR shape: situation, task, action, result), use a story already in your library, or leave the gap open.
4. Your tailored CV (1 credit). When you generate, we write the CV for this job from your base CV and the stories you confirmed, in the posting's language: an English posting gets an English CV, even when your base CV is in Portuguese (dates stay as your CV writes them). Review each change, then download it as PDF or Word. Under Your choices, each suggestion you accepted shows what became of it: Done, Not applied or Couldn't be checked. Regenerating for the same job doesn't use another credit. Your first tailored CV is on us once your email is verified.
Your goal: as close to 100 as you can get
The score shows how much of the posting your CV and your stories cover: 100 means every scored requirement is covered by something you really did. That is the tailored CV to download and apply with.
- Start with the gaps worth the most. In the fit report each gap shows what it can add ("up to +N"). Must-haves are worth more than nice-to-haves; a requirement covered only in part is worth half as much as one nothing covers.
- Answer with a real story. When you confirm a story, the check runs again and your score moves right away, with "+N since your base CV".
- Complete your base CV. If you have experience that isn't in your base CV, add it. The check runs again when you generate.
- Generate when you're ready. Regenerating for the same job after you answer more gaps doesn't use another credit.
- Be honest about what's missing. A degree or a language you don't have can't become a story. Leave that gap open: skipping doesn't raise the score, and nothing is invented to fill it. An honest score below 100 beats a CV that doesn't hold up in an interview.
How to find the jobs that fit you
- Collect a few postings you're interested in, from wherever you look.
- For each one, start a new tailored CV and paste the posting. Read the fit report. You haven't used a credit yet.
- Compare: where does your CV already cover the must-haves? Which gaps can you answer with a real story?
- Generate a tailored CV only for the jobs worth applying to.

Keeping your CV in line with each job
- One tailored CV per job. Each posting asks for different things; one job's CV doesn't fit another. The guide to tailoring your CV to a job description goes through it by hand.
- Answer gaps with facts. A real story about a project you did is worth more than a loose keyword. Stories stay in your STAR library and work for the next job too. How to write a STAR story shows how.
- Look after your base CV. If the fit report shows the same gap across several jobs and you have that experience, it's probably missing from your base CV.
What HireReady24 never does
- It doesn't add skills, titles or results you didn't give it.
- It doesn't search for jobs for you.
- It doesn't promise an interview: the report shows how your CV answers the posting; the hiring decision stays with the people hiring.
